1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Scaled Recipe mobile application ("App").
By downloading, accessing, or using Scaled Recipe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the App.
Scaled Recipe is independently developed and operated by Anton Derevyanko, an individual developer based in Ukraine ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of the App
Scaled Recipe is a recipe management and transformation application. The App allows users to create, view, edit, and scale recipes and provides AI-powered functionality that can transform textual recipe descriptions into structured recipes.
AI-generated results are provided for convenience and may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or inappropriate recommendations. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.
3. Eligibility
Scaled Recipe is not intended for children.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you in order to use the App and make purchases through it.
If you are using the App on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
4. AI-Generated Content
Scaled Recipe may use artificial intelligence and third-party AI services to generate or transform recipe information.
AI-generated content is generated automatically and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for a particular purpose.
In particular, AI-generated recipes may contain incorrect information concerning ingredients, quantities, cooking methods, preparation times, nutritional information, allergens, or food safety.
Scaled Recipe does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or professional food-safety advice.
5. User Content
You may provide text, recipe information, images, or other content to the App ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit such content to the App.
By submitting User Content, you grant us the limited rights necessary to process that content for the purpose of providing the App's functionality, including AI-powered recipe creation and transformation.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, or violates applicable laws.
6. Purchases and In-App Features
Scaled Recipe may offer paid digital functionality through in-app purchases.
One-Time Purchases
Certain features may be available through a one-time purchase. One-time purchases may provide access to a defined amount or set of AI-powered recipe creation functionality as described in the App at the time of purchase.
A one-time purchase does not constitute a subscription and does not automatically renew.
7. Subscriptions
Scaled Recipe may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that provide unlimited access to the App's AI-powered recipe creation functionality during the active subscription period.
The available subscription plans, billing period, price, currency, and any applicable introductory offers or free trials are displayed in the App and/or the applicable app store before you complete your purchase.
Automatic Renewal
Unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew for the same subscription period.
Your payment method will be charged through the applicable app store at the beginning of each new billing period, subject to the applicable store's terms and billing procedures.
Price Changes
Subscription prices may change from time to time. Any price changes will be handled through the applicable app store and in accordance with its policies and applicable law.
Cancellation
You can cancel an active subscription through the account settings of the app store through which you purchased the subscription.
Canceling a subscription prevents future automatic renewal. Unless otherwise required by applicable law or determined by the applicable app store, cancellation does not automatically provide a refund for the current billing period, and access generally remains available until the end of the paid period.
Scaled Recipe does not have access to your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings and cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
8. Payments and Refunds
Payments for purchases and subscriptions in Scaled Recipe are processed through the applicable platform, including the Apple App Store or Google Play.
We do not directly process your payment card or other payment instrument for purchases made through the App.
Refund requests are handled according to the applicable app store's policies and procedures.
For purchases made through Apple, please use Apple's official refund process.
For purchases made through Google Play, please use Google's official refund process.
Refunds, where granted, may result in the associated purchased functionality or subscription entitlement being revoked.
9. Third-Party Services
Scaled Recipe uses certain third-party services to provide, operate, monetize, and support the App. These services may include:
- Firebase
- Google AdMob
- RevenueCat
- Third-party AI services used to provide AI-powered functionality
Your use of the App may therefore involve interaction with services operated by third parties. Those services may process certain technical, diagnostic, advertising, purchase, or other information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Advertising
The App may display advertisements through third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob.
Advertisements may be displayed to users who have not purchased an applicable ad-free subscription or entitlement.
We do not endorse or guarantee products or services advertised through third-party advertising networks.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, user interface, branding, logos, graphics, text, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code or underlying technology of the App.
"Scaled Recipe" and related branding may not be used without our prior written permission.
12. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- use the App for unlawful purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
- interfere with the operation or security of the App;
- circumvent purchase, subscription, or access-control mechanisms;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract proprietary source code, except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
- use automated systems to abuse or overload the App;
- use the App to infringe the rights of others.
13. Availability and Changes to the App
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App from time to time.
We do not guarantee that the App or any particular feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Some features may depend on third-party services, network connectivity, app-store availability, or other systems outside our direct control.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scaled Recipe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, availability, suitability, or completeness of the App or its content.
We specifically do not warrant that AI-generated recipe information will be accurate, complete, safe, or suitable for your individual needs.
15. Food Safety
Recipes and cooking instructions provided by Scaled Recipe are for informational purposes only.
You are solely responsible for determining whether ingredients, preparation methods, cooking temperatures, storage instructions, and other recipe information are appropriate and safe.
You should take particular care when preparing food for children, elderly persons, pregnant persons, or people with allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, or other dietary restrictions.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.
This includes, without limitation, losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, recipe inaccuracies, food preparation, allergic reactions, foodborne illness, loss of data, interruption of service, or third-party service failures.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Scaled Recipe from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you materially violate these Terms, abuse the App, attempt to circumvent its security or payment mechanisms, or otherwise use the App unlawfully.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and applicable dispute provisions.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of mandatory rights or protections provided by the laws of the country or jurisdiction in which they reside, where such rights cannot legally be waived.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
